Had a great time!
Thanks to the organizers (Bar Medusa staff?). Hope this becomes an annual event.
I got to Bar Medusa just as Pervertor was about to play. Had a quick yarn to Ross (Pervertor, Bulletbelt). Good catching up bro!
Pervertor: second time seeing them so was stoked once again. Their singer is hilarious when he's announcing song names. Ross is a fucking beast on the drums.
Execrate: Didn't realise it was the guitarist and bassiest from Pervertor (minus the pantyhose-face masks) and different drummer and singer.
That singer for Execrate =

I was in stitches man.
Bulletbelt: Sorry guys. I was catching up with a mate and ended up seeing your last two songs of your set. Fucking awesome stuff anyway. Am so stoked you're playing the FACTORY next Friday! Met the drummer Scott (good cunt). Ross (Pervertor) on guitar - dudes got skillz (fuck, is there any instrument he can't play?). Singer reminded of Dax Rigg's (Acid Bath era).
Aftermath: Definite odd-ball band of the bill. Guitarist definitely the talented of the bunch. Had some mean skills and a huge sound-palette on the guitar.
I actually enjoyed most of the music except for the vocals. Vocalist spending 75% of his stage time standing behind the guitarist was really odd. Jimmy Eat World cover =
Of Blackest Oceans: Good set. Not the biggest fan of deathcore (if that's how you'd classify them) but these guys do it pretty well. Give them another year and they should be totally slamming (just drop the breakdowns and ultra cliche ATTACK ATTACK style guitar poses).
Crash-Scan: Good set. Musically not my cup of tea but they definitely had their heavy moments. Keyboard/samplist wearing gas-mask(?) for entire duration of set = dedicated.
Fallen Order: Very good set. This whole thrash-metal-revival thing isn't really doing it for me but these guys impressed me nonetheless. The singer, much like the Execrate singer, have that real classic sound to their vocals. very amusing.
Destitude: Another amazing set once again. Guitarist are amazing and rhythm section is fucking slamming. The crowd finally came to life during their set imo.
The Mark of Man: Cool set. Was what I thought they would sound like considering who the band members are.
Backyard Burial: Hadn't seen B.B. for ages so was fucking stoked on their set. The addition of Jared on drums is so cool. Brought the death-metal/grind vibes to the show which was really lacking at this show.
Intergracia: Did not see.
Fire: Did not see.
