Show last night was very cool!

As always, not sure where all the PALMERSTON NORTH heavy-metal enthusiasts were but the people that were there had a great time.

Pariah: Good set. Am slowly recognizing their songs after each successive time I see them. Keep it up boys!

Cage Demise: Good set. Ryan as the frontman was entertaining as usual. A very tight performance.

Black Tooth: 1st time I'd seen and heard these guys live. Was fucking stoked on their set to some degree. Obvious Pantera influence But one of their songs IMO had this slow-and-heavish MORBID ANGEL sound to it (VERY COOL). All the musicians in the band were very good musicians. Drummer has some very quick feet! Kudos for using triggers to make your bass drum sound cut through the mix.

Destitude: Amazing set. Again, this was the 1st time I'd seen and heard these guys live and now I see why people give them so much positive reviews. The guitar players are fucking incredible. Easily some of the best technical display of soloing I've seen/heard to come out of N.Z. metal in a long time. Drummer and bass player are good players aswell. Metallica cover at the end was pretty cool.

Tons of Dimebag guitars on display and in use this night!
