Work up on the day of this show with huge excitment and anticipation. Weather was awesome so the drive up was an absolute pleasure.

Finding Grove House was a piece of piss since it was about 3-4 blocks away from Sussex Street (which is where I lived back in 1999 for a year.)

Recognised/caught up with quite a few people and was so stoked on seeing Pert again (HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY you fucking spring chicken (Twas cool meeting your lady-friend)

Actual performance room was a little bit claustrophobic for me but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kia Kaha Kids: Very amusing set. Recognised quite a few of the songs. Was waiting for feces so be smeared over the microphone but didn't happen

Dole Day Rage: Fucking MINT set!!! So much fun watching DDR play their highly energetic set.

Cervix: Pretty sure people enjoyed our set. Cheers for the warm reception Auckland.

Black Lick: Bloody ridiculous set! Just consistantly tight and fast. Am always in awe of you guys.

Did the mission to that Korean restaurant on the corner of Mayoral Drive and Queen Street which is my post-gig ritual whenever I visit Auckland.
